1. In Support Of

Don’t feel guilty about laying down some dough at this boutique in the Meatpacking District the clothes are eco-friendly and made by local designers, so you’ll be supporting the community and the environment! Plus, In Support Of donates a portion of its proceeds to a different charity every year.

2. Cloak & Dagger

If you’re into the retro schoolgirl vibe, this is the store for you. This eccentric little East Village shop won’t break the bank either you can easily find great pieces for under $100.

3. Babel Fair

This artful little Soho shop is dedicated to showcasing contemporary international designers. You’ll find everything from Korean denim to Aussie street style and you definitely won’t have to worry about classmates or colleagues stealing your unique look.

4. Olive and Bette’s

Originally founded in Vermont, Olive and Bette’s traveled to the Big Apple and has since set up not just one, but four boutiques in Manhattan. You can find a wide variety of apparel here from beach-inspired to street style, with an array of accessories to match.

5. Jach’s

This one’s for the stylish men out there (although Jach’s does offer women’s clothing as well). The store is decorated with wood floors, antique trunks, and custom displays to create the casual, country feel that the boutique is known for.

6. Personnel of New York

This stylish women’s boutique is well-stocked with both artsy international and US brands, guaranteeing that you’ll be outfitted in clothing that no one else has. You can also find decor and other little trinkets in this goldmine of a boutique.

7. Story

The theme of this Chelsea gem is constantly changing. Every 4-6 weeks, the store is completely revamped by a team of curators and architects, mirroring the editorial pace of a magazine. They work with curators and architects for each style, and the current theme is Fresh, in collaboration with Jet.com.

8. Artists & Fleas

Every weekend, a rotating selection of about 60 vendors sets up shop inside Chelsea Market (there is a Williamsburg location as well!). You can find everything from one-of-a-kind shirts to handmade jewelry, as well as other accessories like sunglasses and scarves it’s definitely worth checking out.
