It’s a major shopping street, featuring the Macy's flagship store. The annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade ends on 34th Street, adding even more excitement to this city street.
Just a few blocks over on Fifth Avenue and 34th Street, you will come across the world-famous Empire State Building. On the East end of 34th Street are FDR Drive, the East River Greenway for bicycling to the south end of Manhattan, the East 34th Street Ferry landing, and the East 34th Street Heliport.
