DINING & NIGHTLIFE
C-House
C-House award-winning celebrity Chef Marcus Samuelsson’s highly acclaimed restaurant off the hotel lobby, reflects his balance of tradition and adventure, refinement and simplicity. The space was designed by Arthur Casas, the prolific Brazilian architect who has shaped some of São Paulo’s most fashionable addresses. Sleek, modern lines and rustic, natural textures make it place that’s sophisticated, clean and inviting—like the menu. It features C-Bar, a large, prominent raw bar, as well as an open kitchen. After dinner, enjoy hand-made confections to satisfy any sugar craving. Order directly from your room.

Menu Overview
C-Bar expands the expectations of what a raw bar can be. Old favorites—little neck clams, lobster, Jonah crab claws, and a robust selection of oysters from both coasts—are joined by more adventurous choices such as golden trout, yellowtail fish tacos and salmon pastrami. In addition, there are a number of sashimi-style, marinated options like tuna with pine nuts and toasted rice vinaigrette, fluke with apple and jalapeno, and Wagyu beef with citrus pepper and caperberries.
Besides the stellar seafood main dishes, Samuelsson also presents an interesting selection of small and large plates. Small plate options include tuna salad with green papaya, shrimp roll Caesar salad, ricotta ravioli with corn consommé, and arugula risotto with beets and walnuts. Large plates run from a lobster club sandwich on a housemade bacon brioche to chili-crusted fluke with artichokes and tomato to grilled skirt steak with summer vegetables—and beyond.
The wine list is international with an emphasis on American vineyards, and particularly on an abundant selection of cool and crisp white, sparkling, and light red wines that make seafood soar. The entire list has been carefully cultivated to complement Samuelsson's impressive menu.
